Your data, handled with care.

We collect the least we can, we never sell your data, and the anonymous parts of the game stay anonymous until the reveal. This page explains what we hold, why, and how to get it back or deleted.

Account basics: your name, email, and login provider. Game data: the leagues you’re in, your submissions, your votes, and your scores. Technical data: device and log information needed to keep the wall running and secure.

If you connect a streaming provider (Spotify, Apple, YouTube), we receive only what’s needed to match and link tracks — not your full listening history.

To run the game: store ballots, tally points, build leaderboards, and show you the right rooms. To keep things safe: detect abuse, sock-puppets, and vote manipulation. To talk to you: round reminders and the occasional product note, which you can turn off.

We do not use your data to train third-party advertising profiles, and we don’t sell it. Full stop.

Submissions and votes are anonymous to other members until a round’s reveal. We design the system so commissioners can run a round without seeing who submitted what ahead of the reveal, except where moderation requires it.

A short list of service providers that help us operate — hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and analytics — each bound to handle data only on our instructions. We may disclose data if legally required, and we’ll tell you unless we’re prohibited from doing so.

You can view and edit your profile, export your data, and delete your account from settings. Deleting your account removes your personal data; aggregate, anonymized game stats may remain so leaderboards stay intact.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, correction, portability, erasure). Email us and we’ll honor them.

We use a small set of cookies to keep you logged in and to understand which features get used. No third-party ad trackers. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.

We keep data while your account is active and for a short window after, then delete or anonymize it. Questions about any of this go to privacy@spinballot.com or the contact page.
