Spinballot is a game you play with friends: a weekly music theme, one anonymous submission each, and a twenty-point budget to score the rest. These terms cover how you and we agree to behave while the record spins.

By creating an account or joining a league, you agree to everything below. If you don’t, that’s okay — just don’t use the service.

You need to be at least 13 to keep an account, and old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. You’re responsible for what happens under your login, so keep your sleeve code to yourself.

Pick a name that won’t get the room shut down. We can reclaim handles that impersonate others or squat on trademarks.

A commissioner runs a league: they set themes, manage members, and keep the schedule. Commissioners agree to run their rooms fairly and to not use the role to harass or exclude on protected grounds.

We may step in if a league becomes a venue for abuse, spam, or anything illegal — including removing content or closing the room.

You keep ownership of what you submit — your picks, your notes, your votes. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content inside the product so the game can function (showing a ballot, tallying scores, building a leaderboard).

Don’t submit anything you don’t have the right to share, and don’t use Spinballot to distribute copyrighted audio. We link out to streaming providers; we don’t host the music.

No harassment, hate, doxxing, or scraping. No trying to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the wall. No automated voting or sock-puppet ears to game a leaderboard — the whole point is honest taste.

Break these and we may suspend or remove your account, with or without notice depending on the severity.

Some features live on paid tiers. Prices are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew until you cancel; you can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds are handled case by case — email us and we’ll be reasonable.

Spinballot is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep the wall up, but we can’t promise it’s flawless or never goes down. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last twelve months.

We may update these terms as the product grows; we’ll flag material changes. You can close your account anytime from settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
